PuppyGate has been the main storyline so far for season 9 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And while I’m happy to report that #PuppyGate is winding down it turns out it’s only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the season 9 drama. As the drama surrounding Dorit and her adopted puppy Lucy comes to an end the storyline will take more than a few twists and turns.
At the time a source claimed the doggy drama “really strained” Vanderpump and Dorit’s friendship.
To this day Dorit denies dropping Lucy off at a shelter and claims she gave to the puppy to a friend, who then dropped Lucy off a shelter without her knowledge. Meanwhile, LVP’s Vanderpump Dogs colleagues and employee insist they found Lucy at a kill shelter in Orange County.
Now Vanderpump is throwing shade at accusations she leaked the story about Dorit and Lucy to the press.
“A famous face every day will walk thru the door of r restaurants, but no stories in the press or paps called. But I sell stories about dogs,” the popular restauranteur tweeted on March 23.
This comes after several famous faces have popped into LVP’s various West Hollywood restaurants, which include SUR, Villa Blanca, Pump, and Tom Tom.
It’s no secret that celebrities such as Chrissy Teigen, Jennifer Lawrence, Jerry O’Connell, Rebecca Romijn, and John Legend are all huge fans of not only Vanderpump’s spinoff show Vanderpump Rules but also her restaurants that are heavily featured on the show.
But it turns out they aren’t the only celebrities who are obsessed with Vanderpump’s restaurants.
Pop star’s Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, and Miley Cyrus were all recently spotted at LVP’s newest restaurant Tom Tom, which she co-owns with Pump Rules stars Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval.

While Gaga and Selena’s separate visits to Tom Tom were kept under wraps, Vanderpump posted all about Miley’s visit on her social media.

This isn’t the first time Vanderpump has denied leaking the Dorit/Lucy story to the press. In February, Vanderpump claimed that victory over the accusations after sitting down with her good friend and E! News reporter Melanie Bromley.
Vanderpump also denied leaking stories to the press during the RHOBH season 2 reunion when Adriene Maloof accused her of selling stories to her friend who worked at a gossip magazine.
As for these most recent claims, only time will tell if Vanderpump is truly innocent of the claims made against her by her RHOBH co-stars.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
