While the cameras were rolling Joe gave a speech thanking everyone for being there. During his speech, Teresa blurted out: “I’m glad Jackie’s not here!”
Melissa Gorga can be heard off-camera screaming “so unnecessary.” Teresa didn’t stop there an added, “I love my sister in law” which made the crowd coo with happiness.
Despite the happy event, there was some drama between the ladies. Melissa, Teresa, Margaret, and Dolores can be seen in a heated exchange at the party.
Andy Cohen also popped in to show his support for Joe’s new book.
Meanwhile, it seems that Melissa isn’t letting Teresa’s disdain for Jackie stop them from being friends. Melissa and Jackie filmed for season 10 on Friday night.
Speaking of disdain, Wendy Williams decided to give her two cents on Joe and Teresa Giudice current situation. As you know Joe is in ICE custody after being released from prison on March 14. It’s still unknown if Joe will be deported to Italy or not.
Teresa is currently standing by Joe as he fights this battle but has admitted they will “go their separate ways” if he is deported.
Well, Wendy doesn’t agree. Wendy thinks ICE should have sent Joe straight to Italy for the sake of his kids and wife.
“Ugh, they should just have taken him out of prison and sent him back to Italy, so that Teresa and the girls can get on with their life,” Wendy said during the ‘Hot Topics’ segment of The Wendy Williams Show.
Wendy then predicted that Teresa and Joe’s marriage was over.
“I feel like Teresa, she’s holding on because that’s what her heart says, but in reality, and the reality is, Teresa will live a much better life when she does away with Joe,” Wendy explained.
Wendy continued by explaining that Teresa can start over without Joe and create an even bigger career and life for herself.
“She’s still young enough and attractive. She’s a hustler, not the smartest, but she still has a name, so she can attach herself to books and cooking recipes, and you know maybe one of those shows on the HGTV channel. Then her own show maybe on Bravo — ‘Teresa goes alone with the girls’.”
As for the Giudice girls, Wendy says they will be fine without their father.
“And, the girls will be happier without their father too. I know plenty of girls who didn’t grow up with their fathers in the house and they did just fine. Daddy’s over in Italy because daddy and mommy did some crime — mommy got off easier, and daddy had to wear the brunt of it, so he’s in Italy. Joe is still young, he’ll make another family.”
At the RHONJ season 9 reunion, Teresa made it clear she has no plans to move to Italy or do a long distance marriage.
“I mean, unless my kids say, ‘Mommy, I want to move to Italy. Gia’s going to college next year; I haven’t spoken to Milania or Audriana about it, we haven’t gotten there yet; Gabriella already voiced her opinion to me. She was like, ‘That would be so hard for me, Mommy.’ She doesn’t speak the language. She’s like, ‘That would kill me even more.’”
Adding that her four daughters have “been through so much already.”
“I’m not doing a long-distance relationship. I’m not doing it. You know, I want somebody with me every day. I know exactly what happens. You know, I’m sure he’ll be with other women. It happens. We do the long-distance thing, it’s not going to work. I’d be like, ‘Bye, bye,’” Teresa revealed at the RHONJ season 9 reunion.
