Kyle Richards stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday and talked about a bevy of hot topics.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star revealed that she was shocked and confused by the college admissions cheating scandal that is rocking the nation. Kyle’s was even more shocked to learn that her friend Lori Loughlin was involved.
“We know a lot of people in that circle, and it was really shocking today,” Kyle said on Tuesday’s episode of WWHL, adding that her 19-year-old daughter, Sophia, “knows all of those girls.”
“They’re really great people, so you kind of just go, ‘I’m really so confused by all of this,'” Kyle added. “Everyone’s talking about it today — in our world, in our circle — but until today, we had never heard this existed. Maybe I’m naive that I didn’t know that existed.”
As far as her own daughter’s Kyle made it clear on Twitter that her oldest daughter Farrah got into USC all on her own. Kyle further clarified all of her kids got into college on their own.
Kyle’s daughter Sophia even clapped back at trolls who claimed her mommy and daddy bought her admissions into George Washington University.
On WWHL, Kyle then moved on and discussed the drama going down on RHOBH.
Kyle addressed the text message drama that went down during this week’s episode of RHOBH. According to Kyle, Lisa Vanderpump showed Dorit Kemsley the text messages between Teddi Mellencamp and John Blizzard to make Teddi look like the only guilty party in the plot against Dorit.
During Tuesday’s episode, Kyle told LVP, “I can see what you’re saying. There’s no doubt that [Teddi’s] hands aren’t clean in this, but I think that it’s not fair to put that on her when she wasn’t alone in the situation.”
Later in her confessional, Kyle told the camera that Teddi “did not initiate this.”
“I saw those texts in their entirety,” Kyle told Andy. “Teddi had shown them to me, and you’re only seeing part of those texts, the parts that make Teddi look guilty.”
Adding that she hopes “the rest of those text messages” will be released in upcoming episodes.
A caller then asked Kyle what she thinks about PK’s comments about LVP. PK praised LVP for being a “genius at manipulation and control.”
“She’s the best in the world at it and I respect her for it,” PK added. “But it gets a bit different and bit difficult for me when it’s my wife.”
“Lisa’s extremely bright, so I think when he was saying that, he was saying, ‘Yes, she’s manipulative, she’s very bright, she knows what she’s doing, she’s very clever,'” Kyle explained. “Those are attributes that I also can admire at times, but not when I’m on the receiving end.”
“I personally think that a handwritten note takes more time and effort than a text or flowers, so I thought that was nice,” Kyle told Andy.
“I sent her flowers and called her, but they’re not as close. So for me, that makes sense,” Kyle added.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
