It’s no secret that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast has been inundated with hateful and downright nasty messages and tweets since season 9 kicked off.
But up until now, Lisa Vanderpump, who doesn’t seem to be getting any of the hate, has stayed mum on the subject. That is until the end of last week when finally, well sorta, kinda addressed the death threats her co-stars are receiving.
On Twitter, Vanderpump told fans that the death threats being sent to her co-stars are “absolutely not ok…”
However, in the very same tweet, she denied seeing any such tweets, adding, “Not that I’ve seen anything like that.”
This is an odd statement when it’s allegedly LVP’s “army” that’s sending out the hateful comments. Not ALL LVP superfans are doing such things but clearly, some are.
LVP’s co-star Teddi Mellencamp finds it hard to believe that the OG of RHOBH hasn’t seen any of the death threats her die-hard fans have made.
During an interview with Too Fab last week, Teddi revealed that she’s received messages like “I wish you would die” and “You’re a vile, disgusting human being” just to name a few.
Teddi explained that fans on social media take the hate and drama to a whole new level of abuse, which she says LVP could shut down if she wanted.
“Last year, when I saw people going to that level with Dorit — even when her and I weren’t in a good place — I tweeted out, ‘Hey, guys. Take it easy. Nobody needs the heat and abuse you guys are giving this woman right now because we’re all human beings,'” Teddi said. “And you know who hasn’t done that this season? Lisa Vanderpump, and it’s probably because she’s enjoying it.”
“I believe [Teddi]. I’ve have firsthand accounts with Lisa trying to manipulate a scene or storyline,” Faith tweeted in reply to Too Fab’s interview with Teddi.
“And how would that be? Pray tell… Never seen you before,” Vanderpump shot back at Faith.
“I guess I’ve never been in your home or with your son or in your restaurant or on your show,” Faith replied. “Haha, c’mon Lisa.”
After said exchange, TooFab.com reached out to Faith, who said: “I have no issues with Lisa, but when it comes to knowing what’s good for television, she knows what to do.”
“She’s definitely asked me to say things,” Faith revealed. Faith says that during Season 4 at Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz’s engagement party, Lisa and Ken wanted her to make a scene, which she refused to do.
“At Katie’s engagement party at her house, she wanted me to tell Stassi [Schroeder] and Kristen [Doute] to get off the stage and yell, ‘This is boring!’ I said no because me and Katie were good at the time. So then Ken [Todd] told Lala [Kent] to do it. And Lala didn’t give a damn about anybody at the time, so she did it.”
“Teddi’s saying it, Lisa Rinna’s saying it, NeNe [Leakes] is saying it: Vanderpump can be manipulative,” Faith said. “Doesn’t mean she’s a bad person, though.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on BRAVO.
Thoughts on LVP’s tweet? Do you believe that LVP hasn’t seen any of the death threats aimed at her co-stars? Could LVP shut down the hate her co-stars are getting? Is LVP enjoying the hate her co-stars are getting? Do you believe Faith’s claims about LVP and Ken? Is LVP manipulative?
