Angela Raiola AKA Big Ang got along with everybody on Mob Wives. Whenever she had an issue she took care of it the right way. When she passed away in February of 2016 after a battle with cancer, she was on good terms with everyone. However; not all of her relatives are on good terms with the Mob Wives stars. Big Ang’s sister, Janine Detore, recently announced that she is writing a book about their lives together and hopes to have it out by June of 2020 for Big Ang’s 60th birthday. According to Radar Online, Janine and her daughter Jeannie, said they are still on the outs with Renee Graziano. Big Ang’s sister and niece revealed they are only in touch with Drita D’Avanzo. However; Renee Graziano has recently responded that she’s not happy about any of this.
Janine said, “Unfortunately, the only one who calls me is Drita.” Janine also said she keeps in touch with Alicia DiMichele and Natalie Guercio, both of whom have been on Mob Wives. Janine said she has heard “nothing” from the rest of the cast. Big Ang and co-star Renee Graziano made amends months before her death, because Big Ang said that Renee had spoken badly about her family. Big Ang and Renee made up, however; not with the rest of the family. Janine explained, “When my sister was alive, Renee wasn’t writing nice things on Twitter.” Janine said that Renee had called her “twatty” but said “everything becomes irrelevant when your mom and sister die at the same age.” Janine also shared how they celebrated the third anniversary of her death at her former bar Funky Monkey Lounge in Staten Island. “We miss her a lot. I don’t think she ever left me. I think she’s always in my store. There are always signs. She wouldn’t leave me. She never did,” she shared.
Renee on the other hand, says that there is no feud between them. Renee said, “There is no feud! I couldn’t care less about her.” Renee also said that she is not friends with Janine, that she was only friends with Big Ang. Renee stated, “She is not my friend! The only connection I had with her was because of Angela. It is so sad Janine needs to use her dead sister’s name to get press. She is making Angela turn in her grave, not me!”
Renee also said that she didn’t have a feud with Big Ang, just that they had a fight and made amends. “Me and Angela had a fight towards the end but we made up before she died and there was nothing but love there,” Renee shared. Renee said that Janine wanted to get on Mob Wives but didn’t. Renee said Janine is “jealous.” She said, “Janine was jealous she couldn’t go on Mob Wives. I just think that for Janine to have a problem with me is ridiculous. She has grandkids why doesn’t she go focus on them instead of trying to get two seconds of fame. F**k her!”
Woah! I hope they are all able to make amends soon, it’s what Big Ang would want. Big Ang was all about everyone getting along, having fun, and laughing! I still can’t believe that Big Ang is gone, it’s so sad. I really feel for them all. RIP Big Angel!
