Season 10 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey may start filming sooner than you think!
According to a report from Radar Online, the Jersey Housewives will be heading back to work by the end of February to start filming season 10.
“Filming for the next season is going to start at the end of February or right at the beginning of March,” a show insider revealed.“Producers want to make sure that they have everything about Joe Giudice’s deportation situation on camera for maximum drama.”
As previously reported Joe is being released from prison on March 14, 2019, and faces possible deportation to Italy. Joe and his family are currently fighting the deportation ruling and are expected to receive an answer to their appeal by early March.
With so much drama and turmoil surrounding the Giudice family, it’s not surprising that Bravo wants to get every bit they can on camera.
“The Bravo cameras are going to get all of the emotions. from Teresa and the girls about whatever happens,” the source explained.“If Joe gets kicked out, if he stays, if she files for divorce, they want to make sure they don’t miss anything so they’re not delaying production at all.”
Bravo’s decision to rush season 10 also means good things for Teresa’s RHONJ co-stars. Since season 10 is being expedited, all of the current cast members are being asked to return.
Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, and Margaret Josephs, as well as the newbies Jennifer Aydin and Jackie Goldschneider, will all get offers to return for season 10.
“All of the ladies are going to be offered contracts to come back and they’re not planning to add any new women into the mix for the first time in a while,” an insider claims.
However, much of season 10 will focus on Teresa and Joe’s personal drama.
“The show producers want some insurance that they’ll be able to get the drama in real time. Deportation or not, this would be ratings gold for them so they’re locking everything down and are immediately filming before too many things happen,” the insider revealed.
AllAboutTRH has reached out to our RHONJ insiders to get clarification on these claims. Stay tuned for more details as they emerge.
I think Bravo does want to film Joe’s release and his possible deportation but something tells me it won’t be for RHONJ. I feel like Teresa and Joe are going to get another RHONJ special to detail this difficult time in their life. I could see this special being filmed in Feb/March with season 10 starting production soon after. Just my two cents.
