Teddi Mellencamp is taking a page out of Danielle Staub’s book and is urging fans to: “PAY ATTENTION PLEASE.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is giving us a breakdown of everything that’s gone down with #Puppygate so far.
To start off, Teddi gushes about the new season and fabulous co-stars.
“PAY ATTENTION, PLEASE! Ahhhh! It’s that time again. It’s been a minute, but we are back!” Teddi urges fans as she welcomes them back to RHOBH. “Denise is a #winning addition, right? Phew, what an idiot I am. She really took that faux pas well, so I knew she wasn’t going to have a hard time adjusting to this group. Speaking of winning, I’m in a new home. And I think waking up to that view every day is totally worth the price tag. I don’t really know. Edwin paid for it. Ask him.”
Teddi then reveals that she’s really bonded with all of her co-stars, particularly Kyle Richards since season 8 wrapped. That is with the exception of Dorit Kemsley, who she’s still at odds with.
“My friendship with Kyle has continued to grow from last season, and I consider her one of my best friends,” Teddi explains.“It’s such an easy, understanding friendship that revolves around laughing and having a good time. And workouts. Lots of workouts. She’s someone I can go to a boxing class with and fangirl out over Justin Bieber and not feel judged or embarrassed. I really love her. I also love the way she does a charcuterie. Even though I apparently don’t know what a pepper is.”
Adding, “Honestly, I feel my relationships with the girls were stronger coming into this season. I saw Vanderpump at events and chatted occasionally. Rinna had me living my best life at Coachella. Erika knowing what Boone’s Farm is, has me wanting to crack open some Strawberry Hill with her on a Saturday night.”
“All, that is, except for Dorit. We hadn’t spoken at all, even at events we both were in attendance. I’m anxious about the dog information I was given, and truthfully, I initially was irritated by what I heard Dorit did. But the instant bond Cruz and Jagger had defied any petty drama we may have between us. Lord knows if one of us said the other had a goofy face it would cause World War Three and last an entire season. Those two, they just laugh and have fun together and that was all I needed to realize the Lucy thing just wasn’t my place,” Teddi reveals.
Teddi then broaches the subject of Lucy, who is the pretty little pup that Dorit and PK adopted from Vanderpump Dogs. After Lucy bit PK on the nose and nipped at Dorit and PK’s kids, they gave the dog away to an acquaintance. The dog then wound up at a shelter. The shelter contacted Vanderpump Dogs and there you have it.
Before getting into the drama surrounding Lucy, Teddi touches upon the immense loss Vanderpump has gone through with the passing of her brother, Mark Vanderpump.
However, Teddi also points out that Lisa Vanderpump “chose” to be a part of this group and to say and do the things she did – no one forced her at all.
“Ah yes, Lucy Lucy Apple Juicy,” Teddi laments. “Before I get into that, I must say that what Lisa Vanderpump has gone through with her brother’s death is unimaginable to me and I completely feel her pain when talking about it. I had, of course, reached out to her when the news hit, and I continued to be a supportive friend. That said, Lisa chose to continue to be a part of this “group” and chose to do and say the things she did. I am responding to the situation at hand and reacting to the actions that she chose.”
As Teddi continued her deep dive into #PuppgyGate she provided fans with a timeline of what’s gone down so far and who knows what. I think this will come in handy down the line.
“I also want to make clear where we are in the timeline. This is before the story about the dog was leaked to the press,” Teddi explains. “So, when Kyle and I arrived at Vanderpump Dogs, the only people who knew what happened were Lisa, Ken, Dorit, PK, the Vanderpump Dogs employees, and myself.”
Teddi goes on to make it clear that despite what Vanderpump told Dorit, she and John Blizzard are NOT good friends. In fact, Teddi points out that while she’s friendly with John they are simply acquaintances who see each other when she comes into Vanderpump Dogs with her daughter, Slate.
“Yes, I was told a story of what happened before I arrived that day by John Blizzard, Vanderpump Dogs’ Events Coordinator,” Teddi reveals. “No, we were not close friends and did not speak regularly. He worked for Lisa and Vanderpump Dogs and so of course, through my continual support of Vanderpump Dogs, like all the times I’d go in with Slate and the charity ride I had done for them earlier in the year, to which he was the only employee to show up, we would chat and such.”
Then Teddi accuses Vanderpump of exaggerating her friendship with John to Dorit. It doesn’t end there. Teddi then hints that it maybe Vanderpump laying the groundwork to set her up for the press leak about Lucy.
“So, I don’t know why it would behoove Lisa to exaggerate like that to Dorit. Oh wait, I do, but now is not the time for that,” Teddi hints.
Oh, but wait there’s a lot more the RHOBH star has to say. Teddi also accuses Vanderpump of setting up the whole scene at Vanderpump Dogs when the Johns bring Lucy out and talk about how enraged they are at Dorit and Pk. Lisa claimed she didn’t want to talk about the dog drama with PK and Dorit but still let it happen anyway.
Teddi alleges that Vanderpump could have easily shut that scene down and refused to talk about it but she didn’t.
“John Sessa was the other John there that day. You probably recognized him. He has been Lisa’s right hand at Vanderpump Dogs from the get-go. And as Lisa says, he works for them. So not only is it weird that, if Lisa didn’t want it brought up at all, knowing we were filming that day, he would bring the dog out, but there’s easily a moment when he’s grabbing Lucy Lucy off the ground that it’s just him and Vanderpump and she could have told him “Absolutely not.” This leads to their even stranger interaction when we start to talk about what happened with the dog and Lisa tells him to stop. He seemed confused, right?”
To wrap, Teddi points out that Vanderpump says one thing but does another. More importantly, Teddi thinks Vanderpump needs to take accountability for her actions and stop fabricating the truth in the name of a storyline.
“It’s like Lisa Vanderpump is saying one thing but means another. Kinda like how we see her lunch with Dorit, and she says she’s fine but then isn’t. Strange. It’s also odd how she says she’s sorry she didn’t speak to me at the Daily Mail TomTom even when she did–we even filmed a scene together,” Teddi revealed.
“Anyhow, just some things to ponder and pay attention to as we venture into this season. Oh, and for the record: Cruz peed on the lawn, not in the pool. He has manners. I taught him well,” Teddi wrapped.”
