The rumors continue to swirl about whether Vicki Gunvalson will be returning to The Real Housewives of Orange County or not. Vicki is the OG of the OC. But there are a lot of rumors that she is being demoted to a friend of the wives, that she is quitting altogether, that she is trying to get paid more money, etc. However; Vicki has been stating that she is “in negotiations.” Fellow RHOC castmates have already began filming, but Vicki is on vacation in the Bahamas with her boyfriend, Steve Lodge. Vicki’s recent activity on social media has everyone wondering if she is confirming her exit from RHOC and if she’s getting engaged in the Bahamas. Vicki and Steve were recently engagement ring shopping!
Vicki recently tweeted in response to the rumors, “Unless you hear it from me, then it’s simply a rumor. I am in negotiations.” This all started when Jeff Lewis announced this information on his radio show and called RHOC cast member, Kelly Dodd. They couldn’t confirm nor deny, but they speculated that she is definitely demoted. However; Vicki and Bravo did not confirm or deny yet. Vicki doesn’t get along with Jeff and Kelly. She thought it was his karma when he recently split with his boyfriend, Gage Edward. However; Vicki said on Twitter, “I’m NOT a victim. Just simply stating the facts dear.”
Vicki stated that she is the only one who knows what’s happening with her status on the show. Some people commented that they don’t know if it’s true even if they hear it from her. Vicki tweeted, “Really?? Why not?! I’m the only one who knows really what is going on.”
Vicki recently retweeted something that has everyone reporting this could be her confirming her exit from the show. Vicki retweeted, “So tired of watching the new, hungry housewives replace the women that made us watch and love the shows!” This comes after the news that Braunwyn Windham-Burke is joining the cast as the newest housewife.

Vicki posted a video ring shopping on her story on Instagram. The video cut off right before we see her ring finger. Could she be getting engaged?! Sources and fans are already writing, “Steve put a ring on it already.”

I definitely think that Vicki may be getting engaged in the Bahamas right now! I know she really wants to get married again and so I hope that she does. The Bahamas is a beautiful location to pop the question so it seems likely. Plus Real Housewives love engagement and wedding storylines. I don’t think her retweet is confirming her exit like a lot of outlets are reporting, however; I do think it’s her way of commenting on the rumors. Vicki is an OG and people don’t like when they get rid of the wives who have been around from the start. Personally, I want Vicki to stay on the show. I can’t picture the OC without the OG. I would love Heather Dubrow to come back, as well as Alexis Bellino and Gretchen Rossi. How good and dramatic would the show be with all of them together again?!
