Teresa Giudice And RHONJ Cast Open Up About Joe Giudice’s Transformation, Plus How Life Will Be When He Comes Home!

The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion will be aired before we know it. Star of the show, Teresa Giudice, has been going through a lot on and off camera. Her husband, Joe Giudice, is waiting to find out the verdict of his deportation appeal. He’s finishing up his 41 month prison sentence for mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud. On a recent episode of the RHONJ, Dolores Catania told Teresa he may act different once he gets out. Dolores had said, “A leopard doesn’t always change his spots. Joe may be a little soft-spoken and humbled now, but let him get a little comfortable at home, Teresa.” The press has been putting out all kinds of articles about Teresa and her husband, especially if they’ll divorce or remain married. Now on Bravo’s after show, Teresa and the RHONJ cast have opened up about Joe’s transformation and what to expect when he’s home!

Teresa’s sister-in-law Melissa Gorga said, “He’s going to want to be like, all right, listen, I’m the man, and yada yada yada like he’s used to. I don’t know that Teresa’s gonna be like, OK, and just bow down. I think it’s going to be an adjustment.” Melissa feels this way because Teresa has been on her own for quite some time now, running her household and raising her children by herself right now. Melissa said that Teresa makes all of the decisions now on her own, and said she “doesn’t look to anyone now for an answer.”

Dolores said that their daughters have become very independent since Joe’s been away. She also mentioned that Teresa goes out more now and may not want to stay at home as much as she once did. “Teresa does not have to be home as much as she did at one time, for the most part” she explained. Dolores said, “She’s put in her time, the kids are now older. Joe coming home is not coming home to the same Teresa he left. Just saying.” She added that Teresa’s father, Giacinto Gorga, lives with her now and he didn’t when Joe was home – so this is a whole new aspect as well.

Teresa said of everything, surounding their new dynamics, “Yeah, we’ll deal with that when it happens.” Teresa explained, “You know, he’s definitely changed.”

Teresa’s brother, Joe Gorga, said, “I asked my sister a question. I said, ‘Listen. What’s gonna happen when Joe comes home? You’re this different person. I see you definitely different. You like to go out a little bit more. You’re not the same person.’ And you know what she said to me? She goes, ‘No. When my husband comes home, I’m gonna be with him and I’m gonna go out with him.'” Joe said he’s visited Joe in there and he said he’s “more mellow,” “humble” and “way different.” Joe feels like his brother-in-law is going to respect life in a new way now.

Melissa said that she thinks Joe has had a lot of time to think in there. Margaret Josephs agreed, “Yeah, I think when you’re in jail, how could you not change?”

Overall; the ladies all think that Joe has transformed in a positive way and that he has changed for the better. Teresa and the ladies all seemed very positive about the situation. I’m wishing Teresa and Joe the best! I really hope that he doesn’t get deported, especially for their children’s sake. They’re innocent in this all and deserve to have both of their parents in their lives.

Thoughts on what Teresa and the ladies had to say? What do you think life will be like when Joe comes home? Do you think he’ll get deported? Thoughts on this season of the RHONJ? What do you want to see at the reunion? Sound off below!
