Caroline Manzo has something to tell you! Prior to joining The Real Housewives of New Jersey, she owned her own company. It turns out that Caroline used to own her own real estate company. She was on The Real Housewives of New Jersey during seasons 1-5 and then on her own spinoff, Manzo’d with Children, for three seasons. Before her time on reality television, she was working in real estate in the Garden State.
Caroline recently revealed on Albie and Chris Manzo’s podcast, Dear Albie, “I pretty much stopped real estate when I started Housewives. Very few may know this but I owned my own real estate company for many years and it’s what put Albie through college and everything else, so hooray for me, but then it got to be too much when Housewives started so I stopped it.”
Remember during season 1 when Dina Manzo, Caroline’s sister, was looking for a house to buy? Caroline was in realtor mode, showing Dina homes.
Would Caroline ever return to reality television? Caroline said, “I’m pretty much retired now from the big screen, the big lights, the glamour, the glitz.”
However; she’s happy and busy with her role as Grandma to her daughter, Lauren Manzo Scalia’s, daughter Marchesa ‘Markie’ Scalia. Caroline explained, “I have the baby three to four days a week while Lauren and Vito work and they work long hours. It was our decision to have the grandmothers watch her rather than starting preschool, but she is starting preschool in September and I’ll probably be sitting outside the door of the preschool crying every day.”
I have to say, I love the OG’s of the RHONJ! I’d love for this crew to all reunite.
