Hotlanta! Cynthia Bailey, star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, has been opening up about marriage and moving. She recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and announced that she will be marrying her boyfriend, Mike Hill, and that she will be moving to Los Angeles. Cynthia revealed, “I can confidently say that Mike and I will be getting married.”
When Andy asked if Cynthia and Mike talk about marriage, Cynthia said, “We talk about marriage all the time. I’m in L.A. now, this is Mike’s city, I spend a lot of time in L.A.” Then she was asked if she will be leaving Atlanta and she replied, “Well, no, no, no, I love Lake Bailey and so does Mike. But I think I would be in L.A. more full time.”
How do her neighbors feel about her naming it Lake Bailey? “Well I didn’t ask them,” she joked.
Recently there have been reports that casting for next season of the RHOA is up in the air. There has also been speculation that Cynthia might be on the casting chopping block. If she moves to L.A. she may not be able to be on the show anymore, although if she still lives in Atlanta during filming it could work. Since she’s not going to give up her home on Lake Bailey she will still have her roots in Atlanta. If she’s getting married, producers might really like that storyline.

I’m happy for Cynthia! The future is looking bright for her. I don’t think Cynthia will be getting cut from the cast, especially with her future marriage in the works. I think producers would love that. The RHOA is such an ensemble cast, I can’t picture it without Cynthia again. I’m sure that even when she gets married and moves to L.A. she could work her schedule around so that she’d be in Atlanta for filming.
