Shannon Beador is free from the $1 million lawsuit filed against her by Jim Bellino.
The Blast reports that an Orange County judge granted Beador’s motion to dismiss all claims made by Bellino.
According to the judge, Bellino failed to prove defamation and other claims. As a result of this, the “complaint is stricken in its entirety against Ms. Beador. The clerk shall enter judgment for Ms. Beador.”
Jim is also required to pay Shannon’s attorney bill for the case.
Shannon celebrated the win in a statement to The Blast, “I’m relieved the judge agreed with our position, and grateful to my O’Melveny legal team for all of their hard work on my behalf.”
As for Tamra Judge, who is also a defendant in the case, her charges were not dismissed and her case will continue.
In July 2018, Jim sued Tamra and Shannon Beador for defamation after they made some unsavory comments about him and his ex-wife Alexis Bellino on Heather McDonald’s Juicy Scoop podcast.
If you recall, Tamra and Shannon said they think Jim and Alexis’ divorce is fake. Shannon also commented that she heard the couple’s trampoline park left people paralyzed.
Jim gave them the chance to apologize and retract their statements – something neither of them did. Instead, Tamra and Shannon went on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and claimed they were “poking fun” at Jim and meant no harm.
Now it looks like Shannon is walking away scot-free from the lawsuit. However, it seems that Tamra isn’t as lucky.
Good for Shannon! Hopefully, Tamra’s lawsuit gets thrown out as well.
