Jackie Goldschnieder may be a newbie on the Real Housewives of New Jersey but she’s wasting no time stirring the pot on and off the TV screen.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star recently appeared on The Domenick Nati Show and continued to speak her mind about her co-stars.
Despite already being in hot water with many RHONJ fans Jackie dished about a myriad of subjects, that many in her position wouldn’t touch with a 10-foot pole, including Danielle Staub’s divorce and her ongoing feud with Teresa Giudice.
To start, Jackie dished about Danielle Staub’s recent divorce drama. As we saw on RHONJ, Danielle married Marty Caffrey in May but three months later their marriage fell apart. Since then Danielle has filed two restraining orders against Marty and accused him of physical and emotional abuse. Marty denies the allegations.
On one hand, Jackie supports Danielle, if she feels threatened, but also points out that Danielle has a tendency to make things up in her head. Either way, Jackie would rather stay out of their drama.
“If a woman feels physically threatened by a man, I think they should definitely get a restraining order, but I have no idea if he did those things,” Jackie told Domenick. “I do know that Danielle runs her mouth and makes things up, but I’m not saying that she made up him being violent with her. I have no idea about that.”
“If she does feel threatened, she should get a restraining order, but I also know that things exist in Danielle’s head that don’t really happen in the real world,” she continued. “I don’t know what’s true and what’s not, so I’m just gonna leave that between them.”
When asked if Danielle should give marriage a fourth shot, Jackie said “She’s very unpredictable to me, so I wouldn’t even know how to advise her.”
“I have no idea what’s going through her head. I really don’t,” she continued. “The fact that she has been engaged so many times means she clearly likes being attached to somebody. Me and Danielle are just very different people, so I can’t even be able to tell her what is right for her.”
One thing Jackie does know for sure is that she would only set one of her single guy friends up with Danielle if she “wanted to punish them for something” or if she “secretly hated them.”
“Most of the single guys I know at my age are single for a reason,” she said. “They’re a little bit of a snake, so maybe!”
Jackie then moved on and discussed the controversial comment she made about Teresa Giudice’s imprisoned husband Joe Giudice. During a recent episode of RHONJ, Teresa and her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga were going at it about controlling Joe Gorga when Jackie jumped in and blurted out, “Do you really think Melissa could control her husband’s emotions? I’m sorry, all due respect, but do you really feel like your husband would be in jail right now if you could control what he did?”
This statement didn’t sit well with Teresa or any of her supporters known as “Tre-Huggers.”
So, clearly, Domenick had to ask Jackie: “How is your current relationship with Teresa Giudice, and do you regret the comments you made about her husband?”
“Do I regret it? I stand by it. I don’t regret the comment because I wasn’t judging what her husband did. I wasn’t judging his character. I was making a simple point about controlling your husband, not anything about specifically her husband, just in general about controlling your husband.”
Domenick then brought up Teresa being spotted out on New Year’s Eve with a mystery man.
“Is Teresa dating someone other than Joe?” Domenick asked.
“To my knowledge, no way,” Jackie adamantly replied. “I think it said she was in Miami but I don’t think she was even in Miami, she was in Jamaica.”
Jackie also made it clear that has no regrets about that article she wrote about parents who spoil their children. While Jackie didn’t name names it was clear she was talking about co-star Jennifer Aydin after describing her lavish home in the article.
“The house that I was describing at the beginning could have been anyone’s house, but yes, it was Jennifer Aydin’s house,” Jackie explained, adding, “Her children are definitely not spoiled, which was why I wrote the article.”
Speaking of drama, Jackie dishes about the rest of season 9 and hints that many relationships on the show will evolve.
“A lot of relationships moving in a different direction. It’s a lot of everything. There’s so much that happens the rest of the season,” Jackie reveals. “There’s so much good stuff to come. So, much.”
Jackie also admits that she’s taken quite a “beating” on social media from Tre-Huggers.
“I took a beating on social media this week,” Jackie confessed. “I kind of want some more episodes to roll so people can get the hell of me and maybe move the hell on and stop attacking me.”
When asked what fans are attacking her the most for Jackie reluctantly explained.
“You know honestly, I haven’t said this to anybody, it’s very funny if people are on Team Teresa they will start off telling me ‘You were so wrong to go into Jennifer’s house’ and ‘You have ugly lips’ and ‘they move in different directions’ and ‘you need lip implants.'”
“It veers into this area where I’m like what the f*&k. I’m like people are crazy. You can be mad at me for writing an article, you think I could have given her heads up, that’s fine you can have your opinion and I’m happy to read that. But when you start talking about my face, my lips, my hair and I’m this and I’m ugly. You know that’s just all-new territory for me. I’m just trying to ignore some of it. People can be very cruel. There are people who are very big fans of Teresa who no matter what I do are not going to like me. And this article just gave them more fuel to not like me. You can’t please everyone so I’m just trying to ignore the really vicious comments but you know people will get on you for anything.”
To wrap, Jackie took a shot at Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador. Jackie was asked which Housewife from another franchise would she not want as a co-star and she chose Shannon.
“Maybe Shannon Beador,” Jackie said. “I think maybe she seems a little not as open to new friendships and a little more judgmental and — I don’t know — just maybe not as fun as I would like. I just don’t think that she seems that open to new friendships or getting to know new girls.”
