If you thought Danielle Staub and Marty Caffrey‘s divorce drama couldn’t get any crazier think again.
According to Page Six, Danielle filed a second restraining order against her estranged husband.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star “met with Englewood, NJ, police to obtain an order of protection on Wednesday night.” On Thursday, a judge granted Danielle a 10-day temporary restraining order.
According to the order, Danielle alleges that Marty is emotionally abusing her. However, the order points out that there has been no physical contact between Danielle and Marty. Basically, Danielle claims that Marty is “tormenting” her.
When Page Six initially published their story, Marty had yet to be served. That changed later in the night when police removed Marty from the home he shares with Danielle.
“I’m not aware that a restraining order is in place at all. She has received multiple death threats on social media over her behavior on how she treats people, so she filed something with that at the police but it had nothing to do with me. Whether or not she’s filed a restraining order on me — I’m not sure what it could be for. There has no been interaction between the two of us. We’re living in the same house but we’re avoiding each other,” Marty said on Thursday afternoon.
TMZ reports that late Thursday that police “in Englewood, NJ responded to Danielle’s home Thursday for a domestic disturbance involving Marty.”
Marty was removed from the home but was “not arrested or charged with any crime.”
Since filing for divorce Danielle has alleged that Marty has verbally and physically abused her and her daughters.
Danielle claims Marty mocked her past sexual abuse, held her down, screamed derogatory comments at her, and recorded her during sex without her consent or knowledge.
This seems to only be the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Marty and Danielle’s on-going divorce. Yikes.
