Page Six reports that Rovsek will be getting nearly $10K a month with their settlement agreement, broken out as:
“Christian will pay Lizzie $6,949 per month in spousal support and $4,001 in child support. They will have a call every Sunday to discuss their kids’ schedules for the week.”
Things aren’t all peaches and cream as the former spouses don’t entirely trust each other with parenting choices. It is noted that Lizzie will have to “ask Christian for approval before letting them dye their hair or letting them get any piercings.”
The two will have joint legal and physical custody of their sons Preston and Kingston. Further details of their agreement include agreeing “to refrain from exposing their kids to secondhand smoke while in their presence and agreed to only show them age-appropriate movies or TV shows.” Was that last part really necessary? I mean, isn’t that a given?
Despite agreeing on some topics, there is animosity between two as it had to be agreed on that Christian and Lizzie must make an “effort to treat the other parent cordially during pickup and drop off for visitation, in the best interest of the children.”
Interestingly enough, it is also specified that “the parents practice the Christian faith. Neither parent will involve the minor children in the observance of any other faith or religious practice absent mutual consent or the order of the court.”
Christian and Lizzie seemed like an odd match while on the show (we all remember her infamous outburst on the birthday bus!) I think these two are better apart than together and hope they can remain cordial for the sake of their children.
