The moment has finally arrived! Kenya Moore has unveiled the first photos of her newborn baby, daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, had her dream come true of becoming a mom. Kenya had first shared glimpses on her social media accounts. She revealed the first official newborn photo to People magazine and said, “I finally have everything I’ve dreamed of.”
Kenya gushed, “She’s so perfect in so many ways. This little angel…so beautiful. I feel so blessed. It’s all been so worth it.”
Kenya was raised by her grandmother and had wanted a family of her own for a long time. The RHOA star said, “It’s weird. You can be surrounded by people but if you don’t have what you’ve longed for your whole life, and in my case, that’s a family, you just feel lonely.” Kenya met her now husband, Marc Daly, in New York City and they eloped and got married in St. Lucia in June of 207.
Kenya’s former co-stars have been showing their support on Kenya’s social media.
Kenya also opened up about the tough pregnancy she had. “There were so many scares along the way. We held our breath every time we went to the doctor.”
Kenya opened up about how she suffered from preeclampsia and it caused her feet to swell and she gained a lot of in a short period of time. Doctors had to monitor her closed and then she had to go into early labor. Kenya stated, “I called them to give them my blood pressure readings and my reading was through the roof and climbing. They told me, ‘Your condition is worsening so get your bags and go straight to the hospital, you’re delivering today.'”
She was nervous because her husband was on a plane to Atlanta at the time. She said, “It was all happening so fast. I started crying because I got so scared. I couldn’t get a hold of Marc, I didn’t know what was going to happen. I just remember feeling overwhelmed with emotion. It was really tough.”
Kenya had an emergency cesarean section that lasted three hours. Her husband made it to the hospital in time and was by her side during it all.

“They couldn’t get the baby out. There were all these complications and they knew if they cut into a fibroid, I could potentially bleed out and die. So they ended up cutting me vertically too, to just get the baby out and make sure I survived the surgery. They were so scared they were going to lose me,” Kenya shared.
Kenya remembered the moment she had her baby. She said, “They laid her down on my chest, and those screaming cries stopped immediately. She was just so perfect, so tiny. And just like that, all my dreams had come true.”
They named their daughter after where they met in Brooklyn and after her grandmother.
“We’re so in love. Everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong. But she’s such a tough baby, so determined. And every step of the way, she kept surviving and getting stronger. She’s my miracle baby. There’s no other way to describe it, she’s my miracle baby,” Kenya gushed.
