Melissa Gorga hopes that her brother-in-law Joe Giudice will be reunited with his kids very soon.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Melissa addressed Joe’s recent deportation ruling and said “they’re fighting still” and remain hopeful.
“It’s not 100 percent set in stone yet,” Melissa explained to Andy Cohen. “There’s four little girls that are involved here that honestly want their daddy and really need their daddy. So do we want Joe to come home, and have everything go back to normal. Yes. I think he’s learned his lesson and I hope to God he comes home.”
“The girls are suffering 100 percent, so it’s not over yet and everybody’s being strong,” she added.
“When I tell you the girls need their dad right now, they really do,” Melissa reiterated.
In October, a judge ruled that Joe would be deported to Italy after completing his prison sentence. This ruling rocked the Giudice family and they vowed to do everything possible to overturn the ruling.
Joe filed an appeal to avoid being deported in November and the family remains “optimistic” that Joe will return home.
I think Melissa said it perfectly: Joe’s daughters NEED him. Hopefully, this story has a happy ending for the Giudice family.
