If you thought past seasons of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills were dramatic well then you better buckle up because season 9 is gearing up to be the most dramatic season ever!
And while the season will be great for fans, Kyle says it’s been less than thrilling for the cast as they deal with Lisa Vanderpump’s fallout with the group.
“It’s been going really well!” Kyle says of the upcoming ninth season. “It’s been — I think the viewers are going to be really taken back by a few things. TV wise, I think it’ll be very exciting, interesting season. That doesn’t mean it’s good for us. When it’s good TV, it’s not good for us.”
Kyle says that LVP refusing to film has been quite difficult for the entire cast.
“It’s been a hard season. We’ve never had a season like this before. It’s so much craziness going on. It’s very different, a very different situation,” Kyle explained.
As for how she’s handling the drama, Kyle says “I’m getting used to — Nine years on the show! I wouldn’t say I’m used to it. My instinct is to say I’m used to it, but the truth is, you never really are. It’s not like the stress goes away. Even though I’m used to it from the show, I still get anxious and sad sometimes. We still have fun on the show. We laugh a lot. We’ve had some times laughing may be the hardest I’ve ever laughed.”
When it comes to filming without her partner in crime Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle says it’s “weird,” adding that she hasn’t talked to Lisa in “months.”
“We’re the only original ones left. I wish she was there, what can I say? I love Lisa and I always want to do the show with her. It’s weird,” Kyle explained.“It’s been a while. I love Lisa. I miss her. We have fun together, we laugh together. Like I said, I want her to be at everything that we’re doing all of the time. I love Lisa! Just because we argue sometimes and disagree on some things, I consider her a very close friend of mine and I always wanted to do the show with her and I look forward to when things hopefully turn around again.”
To wrap Kyle dished on whether she thinks season 9 will be LVP’s last.
“I don’t know! That’s a question to ask her. All I know is we’ve all wanted her to be there and invited her to everything that we do and included her in things. It’s her choice right now.”
It should be noted that this interview took place before E! News and other media outlets reported that season 9 would, in fact, be Vanderpump’s last.
