Margaret Josephs is dishing all about season 9 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey!
And the hot topic on Margaret’s lips is her falling out with former friend Danielle Staub.
According to Margaret, fans will “see the unraveling” of her and Danielle’s friendship play out in front of the cameras. Yikes.
“Danielle and I are not as close as we used to be, I only wish her good things,” Margaret told Us Weekly.
“I mean we live in the same town, so Starbucks is the central location, and we haven’t had any deep discussion … there hasn’t really been much conversation,” she added. “But I really, in all honesty, I wish her only good things and I don’t want any ill for anybody, I don’t want anybody’s life to unravel.”
As for Danielle’s split from her husband, Marty Caffrey, after only four months, Margaret calls it “unfortunate.”
In fact, Margaret is surprised Danielle didn’t try to make her marriage last longer.
“I actually am a little surprised that it ended that quickly,” Margaret confessed. “I wanted her to make a go of it, I had even said to her, in real life, I was like, ‘This is your freaking’ life, join a country club, be a glamorous wife, go to Europe, be with this guy’. I just, I think it’s hard when you get together in the spotlight to stay married.”
Meanwhile, Margaret says that unlike season 8’s “petty bulls–t,” season 9 will have real drama.
“I think this year you see a lot of family things, you see things that are the most interesting. I think this year it’s a lot more about family, personal stories,” Margaret teased. “I think it’s not petty drama, I think there’s some serious issues. I think there’s a lot more fun involved. I think every episode is not some craziness. I think you get a lot of depth this season that you didn’t get last year.”
