Kathryn Dennis, star of Southern Charm, shares two children with Thomas Ravenel, and after his recent arrest it is being reported that she filed for a modification of custody and visitation, according to Us Weekly. Kathryn filed paperwork for it recently. Their relationship was documented on the show for five seasons, and they are parents of daughter Kensie and son Saint.
Thomas was accused of sexual assault by two different women this past spring. Then three months later, he was arrested in Charleston for assault and battery in the second degree. His arrest stemmed from a warrant from January 2015 after their former nanny accused him of sexual assault. According to People, Thomas Ravenel’s assault case is now headed to trial. A South Carolina judge found probable cause for second-degree assault and battery charges during a recent preliminary hearing. A trial date has not yet been set yet.
Thomas was banned from the Southern Charm reunion after this all. He’s no longer going to be on the show. He previously denied allegations made against him. Kathryn addressed the situation at the Southern Charm season 5 reunion, saying, “I’m not going to comment until, I guess, it’s resolved, I think. What I’m going to focus on is the children and staying out of it.”
Good for Kathryn for doing what she has to do. She’s looking out for their children and has their best interest at heart. The whole situation is sad.
