RHOD’s Cary Deuber has always been one of my favorites. She brings the glam and then zen to the show, and comes off as authentic vs. thirsty (unlike some others…) Cary recently revealed how authentic she can be as she got personal as to why she only has one biological child with husband Mark Deuber and how her health played a role in it.
Opening up to People, the Dallas housewife shared, “I am not one of those cute pregnant girls.” Before getting pregnant with daughter Zuri, she had to have a fibroid removed from her uterus. “Then I grew more fibroids after [delivering Zuri], so I actually had to have a hysterectomy. So I can’t have any more children.”
Cary shares two stepchildren with hubby Mark from his previous marriage; however Zuri is her only biological child. Cary went further to reveal that while her daughter is a miracle, her actual pregnancy was a nightmare:
“I was sick the entire time and was just ready for her to get out. And she was breech, so she was butt first, and I swear she just sat on my bladder the entire time.”
As for any women reading this story that can relate? Cary has some words of encouragement as well:
“It’s gonna be okay. And [the body] does all go back It’s so weird that it does. You don’t think it’s gonna go back but then it does and you’re like, ‘Oh, that happened. It’s a miracle.’“
Saying the body goes back to normal may be an understatement: Have you seen Cary’s body??
Personally, I love to hear ‘real housewives’ actually being real and discussing the types of issues that other women go through. Props to Cary for sharing her story!
