If you’re a housewives fan, you are well aware that Joe Giudice will be returning to his native Italy after his prison release as a Judge made the decision earlier this week. Joe’s legal drama has been all over the news and most everyone was shocked when his deportation was announced, perhaps none more shocked than his wife Teresa.
New reports are stating that Tre has been desperate to have Joe remain in the United States and has been working on his defense for years. Apparently Tre even went as far as to reach out to her former Celebrity Apprentice boss (our current president) to ask for his assistance. According to TMZ, Teresa “turned to Donald Trump right before Joe got locked up in 2016, hoping he would write a letter vouching for her husband.”
“Teresa reached out to Trump several months before Joe started serving his 41 month sentence and asked Donald to write a character letter. This was before he was elected President, but she hoped the letter would help Joe get a lighter sentence. “
Teresa and Donald apparently had a good relationship while she was on Celebrity Apprentice and thought it was worth a shot. Unfortunately, “Trump’s office — and not Trump himself — wrote a letter back saying he would NOT be able to do anything for her with regards to Joe. His staff wished her and her family well.”
We all know that President Trump is no stranger to meeting with celebrities. He spoke with Kanye West yesterday and has met with his wife Kim Kardashian to discuss the sentence of Alice Johnson. Perhaps Teresa should draft a letter to the White House, with the letters ‘Urgent’ marked on the envelope as Joe is set to be released in 2019.
