Meghan King Edmonds shot to fame when she joined the cast of the Real Housewives of Orange County in 2015.
Nearly one year after exiting RHOC, Meghan is opening up about the worst parts of filming the show and which co-stars she’s still in touch with. Meghan also reveals if she would ever return to the world of Real Housewives.
Meghan says the “worst part is having to hang out with people you don’t like” but admits there were also a lot of positives,
According to Meghan being a “Housewife” was the “coolest job.”
“I got to do a lot of cool things on the housewives, made some great friends, overall it was the coolest job in the world,” Meghan explained, adding that RHOC helped her launch a successful social media career.
“What I never expected from Real Housewives was my social media following. I expected it to grow and things like that, but the wave of the future is advertising on social media, at least part of it and I have almost 900,000 followers on Instagram alone… I’ve been able to turn that into a job for myself.”
Meghan also reveals that despite moving back to St. Louis last year she keeps in touch with former co-stars Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge.
“That’s it, just the two of them,” she explained, adding that while she loved her time in the OC, St. Louis is home.
“I grew up in St. Louis. I grew up in Crestwood. My parents grew up here. They went to high school here, I mean St. Louis is me,” Meghan admits.
As for her return to the Real Housewives, Meghan admits that the Real Housewives of St.Louis does appeal to her but isn’t sure it would resonate with Bravo fans.
“I don’t think I would say ‘No,’ but I don’t really think that it would be a success because St. Louis [wives] are too respectful of one another!” she joked.
