The Real Housewives has inspired a character on American Horror Story: Apocalypse! AHS star Leslie Grossman, in the past, has spoken of her love for The Real Housewives of New York star, Sonja Morgan, and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Lisa Rinna. Now in a recent interview with Nylon, she revealed that a certain Real Housewife actually inspired a character on American Horror Story: Apocalypse!
So which Real Housewife was it? Tinsley Mortimer!
She explained that her character Coco St. Pierre Vanderbilt was partially inspired by RHONY’s very own Tins. The character is a billionaire whose goal is to become a social-media influencer. Leslie explained to Nylon,
“I like Tinsley. And here’s a little scoop I can give you: There are shades of Tinsley in my character this season, and there were moments where I thought of Tinsley when I was doing things.” She added, “I think Tinsley is misunderstood; I think she is incredibly sweet and I felt terribly for her about what happened at that reunion.” This was in reference to Carole Radziwill saying she wasn’t as close of friends with Tinsley as it seemed. Although Carole clarified they are friends.
Tinsley responded to Leslie’s comments, and is quite pleased. She wrote, “Love this!!!”

I think this is awesome! Lol! I’m a fan of American Horror Story and The Real Housewives of New York so I think this is fantastic. I’m excited to watch it with Tinsley in mind now. Can RHONY be back on yet?!
