Just what we need another Real Housewife with money problems.
Rumor has it Real Housewives of New York newbie Barbara Kavovit is dealing with some serious financial issues.
Radar Online reports that Barbara filed for bankruptcy in March 2015 owing $1,178, 350 to creditors.
Barbara owed $63,000 for income taxes, $25,000 in American Express credit card debt, $86,000 in unpaid rent, and $747,900 in legal fees.
At the time Barbara was raking in $20,000 a month and her monthly expenses only added up to $12,670 a month making her financial issues quite a conundrum.
The Real Housewives of New York newbie is also currently fighting a legal battle against her former lawyer Pryor Cashman.
Cashman claims Barbara owes $673,247.88 in unpaid legal fees including interest, costs, and disbursements.
Legal documents say that Barbara “failed and refused to make any payment to Pryor Cashman.”
Currently, Cashman wants a judge to rule in his favor and award him the judgment against Barbara while the RHONY newbie wants the case dismissed.
The case is still ongoing.
