Luann de Lesseps and Dorinda Medley’s friendship has gone through many ups and downs over the last year.
And while fans are hopeful for a reconciliation don’t expect for it to happen anytime soon.
During the Q&A portion of Luann’s cabaret show at Feinstein’s/54 Below, a fan asked her if she would ever consider reconciling with Dorinda.
Luann and Dorinda had an epic falling out during season 10 of RHONY while on the cast trip to Cartagena, Colombia. Dorinda then mocked Luann’s arrest and her trip to rehab.
Their friendship further fractured at the RHONY reunion when Dorinda claimed that Luann only went to rehab to avoid jail time.
Dorinda also said that Luann had become “confused between fame and infamy” after her cabaret success.
Now Luann still remains upset with Dorinda’s comments.
“What she said hurts still,” Luann explained. “I’m just trying to process it and get over it right now. I’m not ready to take the Band-Aid off. I’m still scarred from in!”
“I’m in a good place,” the RHONY star added while referencing Dorinda’s “Jovani” heckling from the season 10 finale. “I don’t need heckling.”
However, Luann is hopeful that one day she and Dorinda can mend their friendship.
“I do [want to make up with her]. I love Dorinda,” Luann said. “We’ve known each other for a long time. I’m sure we’ll come to a good decision.”
Filming for season 11 of RHONY is currently underway so I’m sure Luann and Dorinda will have plenty of time to hash out their friendship issues.
