Sonja Morgan announced at The Real Housewives of New York reunion that she is officially moved out of her famous townhouse! Sonja’s 4,650-square-foot limestone townhouse on the Upper East Side features an elevator, five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms. In footage aired during the RHONY reunion, Sonja said, “The moment no one thought would come, including myself, is finally here. I’m leaving the townhouse.” On top of that, Sonja is getting the monthly asking price she wanted! For leasing her townhouse, she’s getting a cool $32,000 a month.
Sonja is now living in an apartment in Columbus Circle. It’s right up her alley. She said, “I found a great apartment, it’s so my style, I have a fireplace and a little balcony. It’s not too high rise, ’cause I don’t like high rises. I’m only on the 12th floor.” Sonja is in love with her new lavish apartment. When she first moved out of the townhouse, she was staying in a hotel. However; she is head over heels about the new place. Sonja said, “I found an apartment I love, it’s very much me, and it has a rooftop and my dog will love it, my daughter will love it and my gays will love it on Wednesdays.”
Moving out of the townhouse right now was an emotional time for Sonja. She explained, “My kid was born here. She grew up here. On one hand I feel like I’m leaving a lot of memories behind in this house, but it’s not forever, it’s just a two year commitment.” She added, “The townhouse isn’t going anywhere.”

I think this will be a nice adventure for Sonja! You can’t go wrong with getting $32,000 a month! Go Sonja. Lol. It’s a brand new chapter and is something new. Plus, Columbus Circle is beautiful. It suits Sonja very well. It sounds like an exciting time for her. I think it’s great! She still owns her townhouse and is keeping it, therefore; she can always go back. I understand that she is attached to the townhouse and has a lot of memories there. I’m excited to see what next season holds for Lady Morgan!
