Mauricio Umansky is fighting back over claims he screwed a client on the sale of a $32 million Malibu mansion.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband is now filing his own lawsuit to clear his name.
In his lawsuit, Mauricio accuses the insurance company of siding with the seller in the dispute over the sale of the Malibu mansion.
Furthermore, Mauricio denies any allegations of wrongdoing and says “the entire transaction was subject to terms of a settlement agreement between the seller and the United States Government.”
Adding that “every aspect of the deal was reviewed and approved by the Department of Justice and claims to have done exactly what he was retained to do.”
Mauricio goes on the claim that he “sold the home with virtually no publicity, under a strict deadline and at a price above the appraised value.”
Adding, that the seller didn’t make claims of misconduct until a year after the sale.
As for Western World, Mauricio says that they chose “not to fulfill their obligations” and instead decided to sue him. Adding that the insurance company “made a private dispute public” and “shared confidential documents” that he gave them.
In the end, Mauricio is “asking the court to order Western World to pay for his legal bills, along with compensatory and punitive damages.”
Meanwhile, the internet is abuzz with some crazy rumors about Mauricio. Some say that Mauricio could lose his real estate license and go to jail.
