Real Housewives of New York fans got the shock of a lifetime when Bethenny Frankel attended Bobby Zarin’s funeral and reunited her former BFF Jill Zarin.
While many fans loved seeing Bethenny and Jill reconnect it turns out the RHONY cast doesn’t feel the same way.
During the upcoming RHONY season 10 reunion, Bethenny and Jill’s funeral reunion is a hot topic of discussion.
However, the conversation surrounding Jill and Bethenny’s reunion isn’t all positive as we see in a preview.
“That was a big surprise,” Andy Cohen said to Bethenny at the RHONY reunion.
“It was a big surprise,” Bethenny said. Bethenny left Aspen and flew home for the funeral because, “I did really love Bobby, I did have a relationship with him. I was definitely conflicted. Once I knew it, what was I going to do, sit in Aspen? I knew that the funeral was happening, and so I said, ‘You know what? I will never regret going, but I will possibly regret not going.'”
Since the funeral, Bethenny admits that she and Jill have been texting each other.
Meanwhile, as Bethenny’s telling her story to Andy, Ramona Singer whispered “opportunistic” across the reunion couches to Dorinda Medley.
“What I thought was really bizarre…is that you told the production crew you wanted to film it. We all went without really to film it, we didn’t even know you were filming,” Ramona said.
Ramona went on to say that Bethenny initially talked to Jill off-camera at the funeral then jumped out of the car to talk to her again with the cameras rolling.
But Andy didn’t seem to have an issue with Bethenny’s actions and backed her up. Andy revealed that Bravo was invited to film by Jill in order to pay tribute to Bobby and he’s glad Bethenny jumped out of the car to film because he wanted to see that moment.
However, most of the RHONY cast didn’t agree with Andy and Bethenny.
“I don’t want to be filmed at Bobby’s funeral, I find it morbid,” Dorinda said.
