David Beador is breaking his silence about his on-going divorce from Shannon Beador.
It turns out David’s not too happy about his divorce playing out in the tabloids and on reality TV.
“I think it’s sad for our children, Shannon chooses to share any aspect of our pending divorce through the press and on Bravo’s different TV avenues and advertisers [sic],” David told Page Six.
As for rumors he had an affair with his now girlfriend Lesley Cook, David says, “There are two sides to every story and relationship as everyone knows. I believe most people see through it though.”
Adding, that Tamra’s claims about him and Lesley are a complete lie.
“Moreover, her and Tamra’s suggestion that Lesley and I met prior to my separation was a premeditated lie that I’m sure was talked about by the two of them prior to filming that scene. Nonetheless, Lesley is [a] beautiful, amazing, happy [woman] and mother. She and her family do not deserve the negative press those two conjure up.”
At the end of the day, David insists he wishes Shannon well and hopes she finds happiness.
“Finally, I will always wish Shannon the best and hope she finds happiness with the men she is and has been dating,” David concluded.
“It’s been requested from my ex that I’m not worthy of the name Beador,” Shannon recently revealed on The Daily Dish podcast. “For the sake of my kids, I think I’m going to stay Shannon Beador.”
According to Shannon, she’s keeping the Beador because the name Shannon Storms, her maiden name, “could be interpreted as ‘stripper porn.’”
However, Shannon did change her name a bit in an attempt to appease David. Let’s call it a happy medium.
“Now I call myself Shannon Storms Beador so it’s kind of like the best of both worlds,” Shannon explained.
Yikes. Seems like David and Shannon’s divorce is just heating up!
Thoughts on David’s comments? Do you believe David and Lesley had an affair or did Tamra and Shannon make it up? Are you surprised David wants Shannon to drop his last name?
