The wedding of Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright is going to be full of pomp and circumstance! However; the Vanderpump Rules stars won’t be having their boss and friend, Queen Lisa Vanderpump, be the person officiating the wedding like many assumed.
Pump Rules co-stars, Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz, had Lisa officiate their wedding in 2016. Jax and Brittany are not going to follow that tradition, though. According to E! News, Jax said, “I love Lisa to death, but I don’t think I’m going to have her officiate my wedding. I think we already have someone in mind. We have her pastor back home.” That doesn’t mean that Lisa isn’t going to be a part of their big day though! The star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be there in attendance. Plus, she’s going to be treated like royalty at the wedding. Brittany gushed, “Lisa will be there!” Plus she revealed, “She’ll have the best table in the house. We’ll make sure she’s taken care of.”
Brittany also revealed that the wedding is going to take place at a castle in Kentucky. Not all of their co-stars are going to be invited though. Jax joked he couldn’t reveal who isn’t being invited, but he did say it’s “between one and three” co-stars that are being left off the guest list. Oh snap!
I’m already excited for next season of Vanderpump Rules, because this surely will be a storyline! Plus, it’s very likely that there will be drama because not everyone is invited and not everybody will be there for it. I’m not all that surprised that they aren’t having Lisa officiate the wedding, because it’s common for people to have their priest do it. Brittany and Jax talked about how they are busy planning the engagement party right now. They are going all out for that, so it’s safe to say that their actual nuptials will be over the top!
