If you are a RHONJ fan and have always wanted some of that housewives real estate that we see on our screens – you’re in luck! Melissa and Joe Gorga recently cut the price of their Jersey mansion by $200K and due to the amount of times they have tried to sell it, I’m going to bet they are open for negotiations.
Page Six is reporting that the Gorgas relisted their family home for $3.3 million after it had sat on the market for months. This is not the first time this has happened as we all saw the Gorgas try to sell their home on a past season of RHONJ (cracked sinks and all.)
The home was built in 2009 and Melissa has referred to it as her ‘dream home.’ We all remember the custom recording studio that Joe built for Melissa which is included in the 10,000 square feet of living space.
The property was originally listed last October, when Melissa proudly stated that she had “designed everything that’s inside.”
As this is their dream home, and so many custom details were put into it, many have wondered why the Gorgas have decided (multiple times) to try and sell it. Rumors have been swirling that Melissa wants to join another ‘Real Housewives’ franchise and has been eyeing the west coast with plans to move to California (for original story click here.) Of course, there is also the other persistent rumor that the Gorgas can no longer afford the home and are trying to get it off their hands.
Whatever the reason, hopefully it goes better for them this time around. We all remember what happened last time they
sold rented their home: it involved lawsuits with their tenant and accusations of beavers living in the walls!
