The Shahs of Sunset are coming back in August!
The Shahs of Sunset is set to return this summer for season seven. However; Asa Soltan Rahmati will not be returning. She’s a new mom, as she just gave birth to her son, Soltan Jackson, last year. Due to her new duties as a mommy, she didn’t think it was the best idea to appear on the show anymore full-time. She explained, “Jermaine and I are completely overjoyed about being parents. Like all parents, we want to provide Soltan with the best possible upbringing, and we believe that is not being raised in front of cameras.”
Many fans were wondering why they aren’t going to see her on the show right now, and a lot of people have been speculating why she quit. Asa opened up about it on social media, as she wanted to respond to everyone’s questions, comments and concerns. She wrote, “My beautiful Lovers, here’s my statement re Shahs.” Read her full statement for yourself!
I understand why Asa decided not to return and I think it’s admirable that she wants to just focus on her baby. Family is the most important thing! They have to do what’s best for them as a family. Babies are super time consuming, just as filming a show is very time consuming. It’s sweet that she wants to just focus on motherhood. I’ll miss her on the show, though. I hope we can still see her make some appearances as a friend of the Shahs. I’m super excited for the new season to begin! Woohoo!
