Kristen, who’s been a part of the Vanderpump Rules cast since the show’s inception in 2013, hasn’t been asked back by producers.
“She’s being downgraded to a ‘friend’ of the cast,” a source claimed. “She doesn’t have a lot of drama in her life these days.”
Adding that Kristen’s low-key life with boyfriend of three years Brian Carter is too boring for viewers.
As pointed out by the insider Kristen barely appeared in season 6 of Vandeprump Rules except during a few episodes that revolved around her allegedly hooking up with ex-boyfriend James Kennedy.
In the past, the drama on VPR has revolved around Kristen’s crazy and dramatic antics. Kristen infamously hooked up with her best friend Stassi Schroeder’s boyfriend, Jax Taylor, got fired for cursing off her bosses at SUR, and tried to ruin her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval’s new relationship – just to name a few!
However, since then we’ve watched Kristen grow up and move past her old ways.
Kristen might not be as dramatic and crazy as the Kristen of seasons past but she is much more relatable.
Neither Kristen or Bravo are commenting on the casting rumor just yet. Time will tell as season 7 of VPR has already begun filming.
It should be noted that Kristen has been at all the major filming events for season 7 so far including Jax and Brittany’s engagement as well as Gay Pride.
I HIGHLY doubt Kristen has been demoted for season 7. The VPR crew is so close I highly doubt they would let that happen. I think if something like this did happen they would ban together to make sure Kristen, or any OG, remained full-time.
A couple of hours after writing this story, Kristen and Stassi both confirmed on Twitter that Radar’s claims are nothing more than #FakeNews.
“I hate giving that trash bag tabloid any attention. But that is 100%
#fakenews,” Kristen tweeted.
