Kristin Chenoweth is a goddess!
Actress, singer and comedian, Kristin Chenoweth, really can do anything and everything. She’s super talented, beyond beautiful, and has the best personality. Not to mention, she’s also a Tony award winner! Kristin also happens to be a huge Bravo fan! Naturally her love of ‘Real Housewives’ has entwined with her professional life as an actress. She has an upcoming role as Lavinia Peck-Foster in season two of Trial & Error, and it turns out she was inspired by a certain Real Housewife for it! The character is an eccentric grand dame of the small town of East Peck, so she dug deep for inspiration.
So what star of The Real Housewives inspired her? Lisa Vanderpump!
Kristin told Page Six last week at the ATX TV Festival, “There are all kinds of people I used. A little Carol Burnett, Madeline Kahn, Hannibal Lecter, Lisa Vanderpump. They’re all represented in this one woman.” However; she channeled the terrific traits that Lisa V has. Lisa is the star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Pump Rules, plus is a successful restaurateur, on top of being a wife and mother. Kristin explained, “I looked at the style of Lisa, and I love her. I admire her. So, the good, beautiful heart hopefully will pay homage to her.”
I love Kristin Chenoweth! I think it’s funny she channeled a Real Housewife for her upcoming role. It’s a case of life imitates art, and art imitates life. I love Lisa Vanderpump and she is quite a character herself – so I would say Lisa V was a good choice. I’m excited to watch Kristin in this upcoming role! I’ll certainly be thinking about this when I see it now! LOL.
Watch this clip of Kristin giving her input on how to solve some of the situations from different Real Housewives franchises! It’s hilarious!
