There is drama in the Big Apple!
On a recent episode of The Real Housewives of New York, co-stars Ramona Singer and Bethenny Frankel had a bit of drama. Ramona has a new skincare line called ‘Ageless By Ramona’ and during the gift exchange among the ladies at Bethenny’s holiday party, Bethenny said Ramona was giving an “infomercial” as a joke. Ramona confronted Bethenny about it during a phone call later on, and it didn’t go so well. It ended with Ramona hanging up on Bethenny and telling her that she doesn’t support other women. Well, there is one former RHONY star who is supporting Ramona right now: Kelly Killoren Bensimon.
On Twitter, Kelly came to Ramona’s defense and tweeted, “For the record, @ramonasinger was an incredible businesswoman before #rhony, and her daughter is brilliant.” Of course, Ramona was grateful to Kelly for the support. In the past Kelly and Bethenny have had beef. Remember their drama in the earlier seasons of RHONY?
Bethenny had accused Kelly of collecting celebrities as friends, among other things. However; the ladies came to a place where they were able to get along and be cordial. They are both good people at the end of the day.
As far as the current Bethenny and Ramona drama, Bethenny discussed it in her Bravo blog. She wrote, “That phone conversation was very negative, upsetting, and certainly not constructive, but life goes on.”
Ah, I love RHONY! I think that Ramona and Bethenny will definitely kiss and make up. They have a ‘frenemies’ type of relationship. I do think that they are friends, they just have their highs and lows when it comes to their friendship. When they are both getting along, they have a lot of fun together. We’ll have to stay tuned for more episodes, loves!
