Many of us were expecting the Real Housewives of Orange County season 13 trailer to drop into our grubby little hands yesterday after RHOC star Kelly Dodd announced last week that the trailer would be released on Tuesday, May 29th.
Sadly it did not.
Turns out Bravo is once again pushing the season 13 trailer as they did last year and we all know how that turned out. Season 12 was by far one of the worst seasons of RHOC in the history of the franchise.
Some say Andy Cohen chose to push the release of the trailer after being inundated with tweets from fans but many, in the know, realize that Bravo is most likely working feverishly in the editing room to make the season seem more exciting than it probably is.
Andy even defended the trailer release being pushed tellings fans and haters alike “We’re going to post the trailer when it’s ready!”
Perhaps Andy should get his Housewives in check because fans wouldn’t be so excited about the trailer if Kelly didn’t get our hopes up. And lets not even talk about Shannon Beador teasing part of the season 13 cast photo last week. These types of “teasers” lead Real Housewives fans to think something big is about to drop and ultimately gets our hopes up.
Meanwhile, thanks to the Internet gods we do have a first look at season 13. It’s just a snippet from the upcoming season but at least it’s SOMETHING. The clip also gives us a peek at season 3 of RHOD and more summertime Bravo shows.
If Bravo weren’t torturing us enough they also announced an RHOC: How They Got Here special airing June 11th.
Whatever, Bravo! Give me the season 13 goods already!
