Rumors are swirling once again that Camille Grammer has been asked to be a full-time Housewife for season 9 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
It’s no secret that these rumors come up every year after RHOBH wraps its current season.
However, this year the rumors seem more plausible since Camille was an official friend of the Housewives this season and was involved in some of the drama.
AllAboutTRH reached out to Camille about this rumor and she told us exclusively that she “has not heard anything” about season 9 so far.
Adding, that these are “just rumors.”
Meanwhile, others believe that Lisa Rinna may have been demoted to a friend of the Housewives after Bravo sent out a tweet referring to her a “friend.”
Reality Blurb obtained a copy of the tweet in which Bravo writes, “Here’s what the #RHOBH friend is doing to stay fresh-faced,” with a link to a story about Lisa’s skincare routine.
While this isn’t the most compelling evidence it is odd that they would refer to one of RHOBH’s biggest stars as “friend.”
Some believe that Rinna is being demoted after she purposely chose to remove herself from the drama during season 8 in hopes that Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump would step up.
Lisa discussed staying out of the drama during an appearance on Andy Cohen Live.
“I made a concerted effort to let those other girls who are making the most money f–king show up and do the work,” Lisa explained. “I carried that show, or I did a lot of the work for three years.”
“This year, I said I’m moving on,” Lisa added. “I never planned anything. I just came at it as ‘listen, I’m going to move on with Dorit [Kemsley]. If Dorit wants to move on with me, great. If not, I’m moving on.’ That was my way of facing this season. And I was like let those other girls do the work. They’re making more money.”
Yet it should be noted that Rinna also told Andy and Bravo: “give me some meat and I’ll chew it.”
Money talks and if Lisa is incentivized to bring the drama she will. Plus Kyle and LVP have coasted for the last few seasons and they are still around so I don’t see Bravo demoted Rinna over staying out of the drama for one season.
