Sheree Whitfield is just a fool – in love.
We saw Sheree’s love affair with her incarcerated boyfriend, Tyrone Gilliams, play out during season 10 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta and it turns out her family isn’t happy about it at all.
“They are furious about how stupid she looks,” a source tells In Touch of Sheree’s relationship with Tyrone. “They want her to break up with him.”
Despite Sheree’s family’s concerns, she has been unwilling to dump her man thus far.
However, true love might not be the reason Sheree is standing by Tyrone.
“Some of the Housewives think she’s playing up the relationship to stay relevant,” says one source. “Even some of the crew roll their eyes when Sheree talks about her love for Tyrone. She’s a trainwreck.”
During part 3 of the RHOA reunion, Sheree was badgered with questions about her prison bae and she gave some interesting insight into their romance and the future of their relationship.
According to Sheree, she and Tyrone have been together for “about two years” but admits she still goes on dates.
“I have not stopped living. I still date people. I still hang out. I’ve gone on dates,” Sheree explains.
When asked by Andy if she’s in love with Tyrone, Sheree says “I am but I’m still human and I can still have fun.”
As for rumors she is engaged to Tyrone, Sheree says “oh yeah when he gets home and everything is what it is then but no we’re not engaged right now.”
Sheree also makes it clear that she’s not worried about Tyrone’s criminal past saying, “I know this man’s character and I absolutely don’t worry about that.”
Yet, it seems that Sheree isn’t living with rose-tinted glasses and admits that if Tyrone doesn’t win his upcoming appeal she will not be waiting two years for him to be released.
“I’m not waiting two years,” Sheree reveals.
I think Sheree is somehow financially dependent on Tyrone which is why she’s been with him for two years. Not to mention doesn’t this make her whole storyline from last season with Bob fake. If she was dating Tyrone why would she be trying to get back with Bob? Shady!
