Shannon can get by on her own just fine – thank you very much.
While going through split from David Beador, Shannon had to reveal her income from being a reality personality – and it isn’t too shabby!
It was revealed that last year Shannon earned $423,205.80 which to us mere mortals that don’t get paid to throw wine and cry – is a lot of money! For all of us that work 9-5, keep in mind Shannon earned this while working “seasonally between 5-40 hours a week.” Her income comes from NBC Universal and the production company; however it was also mentioned that part of her income (although it didn’t specify how much) comes from endorsing the company FabFitFun. We’ve all seen the housewives on Intagram with their FabFitFun boxes so it’s no shocker that Shannon gets paid for this – I’m just wondering how much.
Shannon also has an additional “$70,355 in cash and bank accounts.” While to most of us Shannon’s income would be a dream, however in the OC money goes pretty quickly. Shannon estimates that her monthly expenses are:
- $12,000 on rent
- $1,000 on laundry and cleaning
- $2,250 a month on clothing
- $5,000 on her children’s private schooling and tuition
- $6,500 on entertainment
- $1,625 on eating out
- $1,900 on child care
- $2,500 on personal care and kids sports
Her grand total for monthly expenses comes out to $38,185. Shannon did add that “she can’t give exact numbers for monthly expenses due to those documents being in estranged husband David’s possession.” I would say her estimate is pretty high; however not as high as I expected it to be, considering the women of the OC are known for spending money 24/7.
The split from David has been heightened not only from his past affair but by how fast he moved on from Shannon. Hopefully David gives her everything she deserves so she can move on not looking back and with a full bank account!
