LuAnn DeLesseps The Real Housewives of New York - RHONY

Making a Comeback! Luann de Lesseps Admits That She’s Not Proud of Her Arrest but the Show Must Go On!

Luann de Lesseps has been on her best behavior since her embarrassing arrest; however is she ready to get a little naughty?

The RHONY star recently opened up to The New York Times admitting that her arrest was “something I am not proud of” however Lu will not lying low and is actually doing the opposite by taking center stage.

Luann is set to start in a cabaret act titled “Countess and Friends” which will be centered around her life and will even incorporate her Dec. arrest into the act:

“I can’t avoid the whole story of what happened to me in Palm Beach. I’m trying to keep it light while also taking it seriously.”

It wasn’t just the fact that Lu was arrested that was so shocking, but her behavior towards the police that came with it. Luann allegedly threatened to kill ‘everyone’, slammed a door in the police officer’s face and pulled a Houdini by getting out of her restraints:

“Craaaazy for thinking I could get out of those handcuffs” Luann added.

Luann has since gone to an alcohol treatment center and defends her moving forward with the Cabaret act by stating, “The important thing is to not take yourself so damn seriously. I always think, ‘I can survive this if I keep on moving.’ ”

Listen I’m all for moving on from your mistakes but I don’t think a Cabaret act is the best step for her career or image. Cabaret’s are known for being a little boozy and making light of a violent outburst doesn’t seem like the way to go. Hopefully whoever is running this show has Luann’s best interests are heart and isn’t just seeing dollar signs.

Do you think Luann should move forward with her Cabaret Act after her arrest?
