Bethenny Frankel isn’t known for being laid back. In fact, she’s the NY housewife that the newbies are usually nervous to meet and isn’t one to spare any feelings. So when perfectionist Fredrik Eklund teamed up with the B for their new Bravo show – was he planning on putting her in her place?
The answer is ‘no’ as apparently Fredrick himself was a little scared to team up with her! Speaking out to People Magazine Fredrick states that what makes Bethenny special also makes her a bit scary:
“I always say she has the special sauce, she makes s**t happen. That can be amazing to watch. But when you’re a business partner with somebody like that, it’s a little scary. Very exciting and a lot of fun, but a little scary, too.”
Our two favorite type A Bravolebs have teamed up for Bethenny & Fredrik, a reality show that will follow the two renovating pricey apartments in Manhattan. The two seem to have great chemistry and bring out something different in each other. Fredrik states that Bethenny “brings out the big clumsy idiot in me” while B states that “He has a wacky sense of humor on his show, and I have sort of a biting, sarcastic sense of humor on my show, but together it becomes sort of slapstick. It’s a different type of buddy comedy.”
As you can imagine, part of their teaming up includes holding each other accountable. Luxury loving Fredrik often attempts to convince Bethenny to invest in pricey items for the apartments, while Bethenny tries to set the budget. One thing the two agree on? A throne fit for a king (aka a luxury, heated toilet for the master bath:) Per Fredrik:
“She became obsessed, she did not want to leave. Her a** got so hot and we were laughing so hard. But you thought $2,600 was actually so worth it.” Bethenny playfully adds: “To have a hot a**? One hundred percent.”
You can tune into Bethenny & Fredrik February 6th at 10:00 p.m. EST on Bravo then come back to AllAboutTRH to discuss! You know I’ll be tuning in. Luxury apartments + Fredrik Eklund = reality TV gold.
