Joe and Melissa Gorga have been all over the news after it was revealed that their restaurant of less than a year would be shutting down.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple’s attorney, James Leonard previously spoke to AllAboutTRH about the restaurant closing, telling us “They are in the process of closing the restaurant” and “are seeking a bigger space to reopen the restaurant with different management.”
Adding, “The current management and the Gorga’s had a different vision for the restaurant. Currently, the Gorga’s are looking for partners and a space that are more consistent with their own vision for a restaurant.”
However, it turns out there’s more behind the restaurant’s closing.
According to sources, Joe is furious because his business partners didn’t give him the money they promised; forcing Joe to possibly take legal action against them.
“Joe is looking into pursuing legal action against these guys,” a source told Us Weekly. “He’s not backing down.”
Meanwhile, Melissa is “upset,” the insider revealed. “She wishes they never got involved in the restaurant.”
I think the Gorga’s have quite the conundrum on their hands. And to be honest it seems like this restaurant mess may be more trouble than it’s worth. I wish Melissa and Joe the best and hope they get their new restaurant off the ground very quickly.
Are you surprised Joe got stiffed out of money by his partners? Will Joe pursue legal action against his partners? Do you think Melissa over being in the restaurant business? Do you believe the Gorga’s will re-open their restaurant?
