Jeana Keough was living the good life when she exited the Real Housewives of Orange County in 2009, but there was one thing she didn’t love about her life – the way she looked.
“I went through menopause, I had gained weight, I looked terrible, and I didn’t date for years,” says Jenna, now 62, tells PEOPLE.
Eventually, Jeana got fed up and got back into shape. However, she was then left with excess skin on her neck that didn’t make her happy.
That’s when Jeana decided to get a facelift and never looked back.
“I want to look 15 years younger because I like guys that are 15 years younger,” she joked about why she wanted to go under the knife.
Still, Jeana had some trepidations about going under the knife.
“I was nervous,” Keough admits. “I was worried about the downtime. I didn’t want to look like bloody, swollen Tales From the Crypt for a week.”
A mere six weeks later Jeana was healed and ready to show off her refreshed look to her friends.
“I don’t know how they’ll feel about it, but I think I look great,” she admits. “And that’s all the really matters.”
