Season 12 of the Real Housewives of Orange County had a few good moments but overall the season didn’t live up the hype and wasn’t on par with what we’ve come to expect from the ladies of the OC.
So, it’s not shocking that there is a bevy of casting rumors out there surrounding season 13.
Let’s break down two of these latest rumors.
According to sources at Page Six, the OG of the OC, Vicki Gunvalson could be giving up her orange after 12 years.
“‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’ reunion was extremely emotional because Vicki warned the girls that she is stepping down next season,” an insider told Page Six.
“There have been quiet castings for new women,” the insider added. “The ‘Housewives’ franchise is thinking of new girls for the show and is asking around for new women for the next season. Vicki threatened to not come back at all if there’s a new cast.”
Meanwhile, sources also say that Tamra Judge “is also thinking of not coming back.”
Neither Tamra nor Vicki’s reps had any comments about the claims.
I’ve talked to Tamra a couple of times over the last few weeks, and she’s made no indication that she’s going anywhere. In fact, she seems pretty excited for season 13.
To add fuel to the fire, there are still rumors circulating about Meghan Edmonds, Lydia McLaughlin, Peggy Sulahian, and even Gretchen Rossi but more on that tomorrow!
