One of the biggest gripes of season 8 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey is that Dolores Catania seems to be Siggy Flicker’s little minion and completely up her ass.
While Dolores has been friends with Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga for years, she seems to have turned her back on their decades of friendship in favor of blindly following her new friend Siggy.
Siggy tackled the criticism during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
“It’s a joke. You have to know Dolores. Dolores beats to her own drum,” she told one WWHL caller. “I follow Dolores if anything; Dolores doesn’t follow me.”
Dolores who was in the WWHL audience chimed in saying, “We follow each other.”
Meanwhile, Siggy made it clear she’s happy to follow Dolores no matter what.
“I would be proud to not only follow her, to kiss her ass,” Siggy wrapped.
I think Siggy and Dolores have a great friendship, but I’ve never understood why Dolores doesn’t backup Teresa ever. Since Dolores started RHONJ, she’s never stood up for Teresa and has also stayed neutral, which isn’t something you’d expect from someone who’s known Teresa since she was 16. It’s just very very odd. I do agree that it seems like Dolores is doing nothing but kissing Siggy’s ass this season and agree with everything she says and does.
