Let's Discuss: Teresa Giudice The Real Housewives of New Jersey - RHONJ

Teresa Giudice: ‘I Have No Idea’ If I’ll Still Be Married to Joe in 40 Years

Teresa Giudice is getting very candid about her 18-year marriage to husband Joe Giudice in a new interview with Us Weekly.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star reveals that while she’s “happily” married at the moment, even she’s not sure her marriage to Joe will last forever.

This news comes as a shock to fans and haters alike who have often questioned why Teresa hasn’t divorced Joe considering his actions made her a felon.

“Will I still be married to Joe in 40 years? I have no idea,” reveals Teresa. “You don’t know what life will bring.”

In fact, in the first chapter of her new memoir, Standing Strong, Teresa reveals that she’s still angry with Joe.

“I know he didn’t mean to do it intentionally, but I’m still mad at the situation. He should have been on top of everything,” Teresa explains. “I would have never thought in a million years that I would have gone to jail.”

Despite rumors that Teresa is “done” with her marriage to Joe, the RHONJ star says she’s not there yet.

And speaking of rumors, Teresa denies Kim DePaola’s claims that she has a boyfriend.

“No! I’m surprised it took over a year for something like that to come out about me. I have a lot of guy friends. I really don’t care what people think — I’m not living in a bubble, I have to go on with my life,” Teresa says, “And when I was away, Joe was photographed with girls, and he told me, “Listen, they were with my friends,” and I said, “OK, fine.””

As for her relationship with Joe, Teresa admits she’s still working on forgiving Joe but can’t start that process until he’s home from prison.

“When he gets home, we’ll see,” Teresa explains. “We have to ride this whole thing out. He has to serve his time, come home and do amazing. And then I’ll answer that question. But I am giving him a chance. That’s why I’m standing by him.”

Meanwhile, Teresa says Joe isn’t doing that great in prison and admits he feels a lot of guilt.

“He definitely feels a lot of guilt. When he came to see me in jail, he cried all the time. Joe is more sentimental than I am.”

Teresa also says that Joe being away has put a lot more stress on her; forcing her to be both mom and dad which has resulted in her and the girls to visit Joe less and less.

“In the beginning, we could go Monday, Wednesday, Friday and the weekend. Now they got strict — no more Sundays, which is hard. Saturdays are OK, but the girls have their activities and sports that day. I tell them, “Don’t worry about it. Do your thing, be a kid.” Once a month is enough,” Teresa explains.

I’m shocked at how open Teresa is about her relationship with Joe. Teresa makes it seem like she and Joe aren’t going to last at all, which is beyond shocking. Time will tell what happens between Tre and Joe but hopefully, they can make it work for the sake of their kids.

Do you think Teresa and Joe’s marriage will last? Are you surprised Teresa is still angry at Joe?
