It’s no secret that season 12 of the Real Housewives of Orange is horrendously bad like the worst ever.
RHOC went from being a fun, dramatic, bitchy, entertaining franchise to a dull, dried up mess that’s barely watchable.
While most fans know that something on RHOC needs to change big time many are divided on which Housewives should stay and which Housewives need to go.
Well, fret no more because it seems like Flipping Out’s Jeff Lewis has it all figured out but I can guarantee many fans aren’t going to like what he has to say.
During a recent appearance on Heather McDonald’s Juicy Scoop podcast, Jeff spoke the juicy truth and confirmed what everyone’s been saying all season long: “OC this season is bad.”
Adding,“I’ve told Andy [Cohen] this. I told Amy Phillips this. I told anyone who would listen to me. The fact is you’ve got two islands, and you have Vicki [Gunvalson] on one island and Tamra [Judge] and Shannon [Beador] on another island. And it’s not working.”
So, what’s Jeff’s big solution?
Jeff thinks the OG of the OC needs to go.
“They have to let somebody go. I love Vicki. I’ve been friends with Vicki for a long time,” Jeff declared. “I think she’s a great part of the program, but she’s not working with the girls, and just when you think there’s going to be a reconciliation, she hurls these horrible, vicious, nasty, untrue accusations. Is that really going to warm up these girls to where they’re going to reconcile and hang out with you?”
“I think Vicki has done this to herself and maybe it’s time,” Jeff continued.
Another misstep in casting according to Jeff was the addition of Peggy Sulahian.
“Honestly I think it’s not the right fit. I think it’s a misfire. I will say I think she’s very pretty. They probably fit the profile. They’re very affluent,” Jeff explained.
Oh lord, I think Jeff may have dropped the bombs of all bombs. We all know that some significant casting change has to occur on RHOC to revive the franchise but gosh can you imagine RHOC without Vicki? It’s a crazy thought. In a perfect world, I’d love to see Tamra, Vicki, and Shannon stay and have the rest of the cast replaced, but I don’t think that’s an option since none of the ladies will film together. It will be very interesting to see how Bravo handles RHOC for season 13.
Thoughts on Jeff’s statements? How do you feel about season 12 so far? Do you think Vicki need to go? Did Vicki alienate herself from the cast? Does RHOC need to have a casting shakeup? Has Vicki’s behavior and actions made her friendships with her co-stars irreparable? Was Peggy a wrong casting choice for RHOC? Which RHOC do want to see stay and which ones need to go?
