Jason Hoppy may have gotten the break of a lifetime in his on going legal battle with his ex-wife Bethenny Frankel.
On Tuesday, prosecutors offered Jason a dismissal deal in his stalking case.
However, Jason didn’t jump and take the deal. Instead, Jason said he needed more time to decide whether or not he wanted to accept the deal.
After a confrontation at their daughter Bryn’s school, Bethenny filed charges against Jason and he was arrested and charged.
According to Page Six, the dismissal deal would let Jason walk away scot free after one year if he avoids harassing Bethenny. Plus, Jason wouldn’t have to admit any guilt.
Jason is due back in court on September 27.
Meanwhile, sources say Bethenny has been “free and happy” since Jason’s arrest.
“The restraining order worked,” explains a friend of Bethenny’s. “Bethenny has been a different person. She’s been allowed to have a free and happy life.”
If I were Jason I’d take the deal ASAP and move on with my life. I’m glad to hear Bethenny is doing well. I wish Bethenny and Jason could just put their issues behind them and have a friendly relationship for the sake of their daughter.
Are you surprised Jason was offered a plea deal? Do you think Jason will take the deal? Should Jason take the deal? Is the deal offered to Jason fair? Do you think Bethenny is happier since Jason’s arrest?
