Vicki and Shannon got very close on, and off-camera as well, which actually led to the demise and end of their friendship, but RHOC fans are hopeful that they’ll once again reconcile like we’ve seen them do in the past; so are they on their way to BFF status once and for all? According to Shannon, the answer is no, and she stands firm that she has no desire to have Vicki in her life ever again!
“When you cross the line and make the allegations that she did about my husband, that does nothing but hurt my family, and my job as a mother is to protect my family. And I will cut anybody out of my life that is as hurtful as that,“ Shannon told The Daily Dish. Noting that even if Vicki apologized it wouldn’t change her mind or help their situation.
Insisting, “So for better or worse, I wish her well, be happy with your new man, I forgive you. I don’t want you in my life.”
While RHOC fans assumed that the reason for Shannon’s strong hatred towards Vicki had to do with the allegations of David’s abuse, but apparently that isn’t the case; Shannon claimed on WWHL that she still would avoid Vicki, regardless of her damaging rumors or not!
“I’m human, but if I put myself back into the ring, then I’m the only one who’s responsible for getting hurt again. I was already hurt by her before. So I just live my life. I cut you out when it gets to a certain point,” she defended.
Finally, she addressed Vicki’s previous statement to Andy Cohen that if Shannon wasn’t in the picture, she and Tamra would be friends; as expected, Shannon didn’t take kindly to Vicki’s theory and was quick to shut down her involvement in their feud.
“For Vicki to allege that if I weren’t in the picture she would have this friendship with Tamra, I don’t influence Tamra. I don’t tell her who to be friends with and who not to be friends with. In fact, if you see this season, Lydia [McLaughlin] isn’t being so nice to me, but yet Tamra is still friends with her. I’m not saying, ‘Tamra if you’re my friend, don’t be friends with her.’ I don’t do that,” Shannon defended.
In closing, Shannon revealed that not only is she getting herself healthier physically, but mentally and emotionally as well! “I’ve made my decision for myself and what’s healthiest for me. And she’s capable of making her own decisions,” she wrapped!
